Board of Governor Meetings
Your Wilshire Bar Association Board of Governors convenes the first Tuesday of every month at
6:00 p.m. Our next Board meeting is Tuesday, May 5th, 2009.
If you have any ideas how our Wilshire Bar may continue to contribute to our Bar and our Community, or any suggestions for events or speakers, please contact David L. Rukstalis, Jr. Esq. at 310-649-7580 or

Your Wilshire Bar Association provides activities and opportunities for attorneys in and around Wilshire Boulevard from Santa Monica to downtown Los Angeles, California, including Continuing Education of the Bar, Educational Interaction with the Judiciary, Links to Legal Resources, Networking, and Community Out-Reach Programs.

We particularly look forward each year to our "Bench and Bar" Dinner and our Appellate Justices Luncheon.

MCLE Luncheon – Electronic Discovery – September 15, 2009

 

On Tuesday September 15, 2009 at Taix Restaurant located at 1911 Sunset Boulevard, Los Angeles, California 90026, the Wilshire Bar Association will have an MCLE Luncheon beginning at noon. Jacques Nack Ngue, CISA and Michael Swarz, J.D. of eClaris, Inc., an electronic discovery consultancy and service provider, will be speaking. The hour-long seminar is entitled as Spotlight on Electronic Discovery: What Every Attorney Should Know and is aimed at giving the audience a better sense of how to prepare for litigation that involves electronic evidence.  The goal of the presentation will be to impart practical strategies and best practices for conducting Electronic Discovery by covering risk management protocols, applicable law and the process itself. eClaris is dedicated to helping law firms and corporations classify, process and review electronically stored information.  For more information about eClaris, please visit their website at www.eclaris.com  The presentation will entitle those in attendance to 1 hour of MCLE Credit.
