Board of Governor Meetings
Your Wilshire Bar Association Board of Governors generally convenes the first Tuesday of every month at 6:00 p.m. Our next Board meeting is Tuesday, March 4, 2014. If you have any ideas how our Wilshire Bar may continue to contribute to our Bar and our Community, or any suggestions for events or speakers, please contact Edward Idell at 213-384-4088 ext. 4110 or
by email to present your ideas to the Board.

Your Wilshire Bar Association provides activities and opportunities for attorneys in and around Wilshire Boulevard from Santa Monica to downtown Los Angeles, California, including Continuing Education of the Bar, Educational Interaction with the Judiciary, Links to Legal Resources, Networking, and Community Out-Reach Programs.

MCLE Luncheon at TAIX French Restaurant February 20, 2014, at Noon -  “DUI - What Every Civil Practitioner Should Know”


On
Thursday, February 20, 2014 at noon at Taix French Restaurant located at 1911 Sunset Boulevard, Los Angeles, California 90026, our MCLE speaker will be attorney Kenneth H. Lewis.  The topic will be “DUI – What Every Civil Practitioner Should Know.” This will qualify for one hour of MCLE ethics credit. Annual Day at the Races  - at Santa Anita Park -  March 22, 2014


On
Saturday, March 22, 2014, we will have our Annual Day at the Races at Santa Anita Park Race Track, located at 285 West Huntington Drive, Arcadia, CA 91007. The first race starts around  12:30 p.m.  The cost of only $38.00 per person includes Valet Parking, Admission, Program, and Lunch.  Reservations are required and must be made at least ten days prior to the event; seating is limited.
