Board of Governor Meetings
Your Wilshire Bar Association Board of Governors generally convenes the first Tuesday of every month at 6:00 p.m. Our next Board meeting is Tuesday, September 7, 2010 (no meeting in August). If you have any ideas how our Wilshire Bar may continue to contribute to our Bar and our Community, or any suggestions for events or speakers, please contact David L. Rukstalis, Jr. Esq. at 310-649-7580 or
by email to present your ideas to the Board.

Your Wilshire Bar Association provides activities and opportunities for attorneys in and around Wilshire Boulevard from Santa Monica to downtown Los Angeles, California, including Continuing Education of the Bar, Educational Interaction with the Judiciary, Links to Legal Resources, Networking, and Community Out-Reach Programs.

We particularly look forward each year to our "Bench and Bar" Dinner and our Appellate Justices Luncheon.

Hollywood Bowl -  September 5, 2010, at 7:30 p.m. - “The Big Picture – the Films of 20th Century Fox.”


The Wilshire Bar has secured a limited number of tickets to the Hollywood Bowl for September 5, 2010 (Labor Day Weekend) at 7:30 p.m. for “The Big Picture – The Films of 20th Century Fox” featuring award-winning scores and scenes projected on the Bowl’s big screens, with   David Newman and the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra. MCLE Luncheon at TAIX French Restaurant September 23,  2010, at noon – “Restraining Orders.”


On
Thursday September 23, 2010 at noon at Taix French Restaurant located at 1911 Sunset Boulevard, Los Angeles, California 90026, our MCLE speaker will be attorney Ken Lewis.  The topic will be how to obtain, use and deal with Restraining Orders.  This will qualify for one hour of MCLE credit.
